It is now 3 months since my last update to members. Since the Club reopened on 31 August the procedures that we have put in place, to protect members and staff, have bedded in well, and the feedback that I am receiving is overwhelmingly positive. We are all enjoying being back in the building, using our facilities and feeling safe. So, as we approach the end of the year, I want to provide an update on some important matters.
We are pleased to announce that the Board will be offering members who paid their full subscriptions throughout the period of closure, a 25% reduction in subscriptions for next year. Full details of the rates for the year 2021/22 can be found here:
AGM – 2020
As everyone is aware, it is not possible to hold a physical meeting at present. Given the nature of our Club, and the Board’s policy of providing information throughout the year the decision has been taken to continue to put the AGM on hold. The link below shows a document prepared by our Legal Director Caroline Docherty OBE which sets out the position, and provides the information that would otherwise be dealt with at an AGM – including a link to the Audited accounts for the year to 31.1.20, and Minutes of last year’s AGM.

I would like to thank members once again for their continued loyalty and my fellow Board members for their support. In particular I would like to thank our Operations Manager, Paul Dunlop and his team for all of their work, under difficult circumstances, in keeping the Club open, and safe for all of us.
