In addition to the benefits associated with learning to swim our adult lessons can also provide the following;
- Extra confidence in the water by either improving your current stroke or learning a new one.
- Gives you the confidence to pass on the knowledge be it to kids, grandchildren, nieces or nephews.
- Knowing the proper swimming techniques is essential for preventing injury. Improper form can lead to pulled muscles and tendons, especially in your shoulders and back. If you injure yourself while swimming, you may have a harder time staying above water.
- Greater efficiency. When you have accurate form, you’ll be able to swim longer distances before tiring out. This can keep you safer longer.
Adult Beginners

The beginners class is designed to introduce you to basic water strokes and movement through water. We will guide you through a series of tasks and strokes tailored to your individual needs, whether it’s building up your confidence in the water or introducing you to a new stroke.
Swimming Fitness
Tuesday 19.30-20.00
The improvers class is ideal for competent swimmers who want to improve their fitness and technique.
